marysloanbyerley.com: gallery I strive to work with straight photographic images to depict a location, scene or object of interest, but also utilize computer graphic software programs to create non-traditional images. My goal is to draw from various qualities painting and photography provide, and work to develop a specific balance between the two, depending on the purpose of the image. Incorporating filters and mixing textures allows for composition variances, image enhancements, and special effects that will hopefully engage the audience, challenge perceptions, and provide a place to return for reflection, motivation, or inquiry. |
